Jeanette was colour coordinated with her picture .

John finally got a pencil with some lead in it and drew a pretty flower....!

Margaret also drew a pretty flower .

We had a lovely lunch and tour of the Japanese Gardens and Art Gallery on 22nd March.
It was part funded by the Gov. for our seniors week outing. We enjoyed learning about the Japanese Tea House and the gardens and then after lunch a workshop to see how many of us could draw or paint....Sadly not many of us pained or drew anything very special, but it was fun trying and I think everyone had a good laugh and enjoyed the TRYING to be artistic....  Watch this space   ......                   Photos will be following....

New Member...... John Inducted by President Derek

Committee lined up for 2012 ---13

The committee for the coming year April 2012 to 2013 have been voted for and have accepted the positions  they were nominated for....

David presided over the election of the new officers and the change over meeting will take place April 12th.
Our next outing will be to the East Gosford Art Gallery and Japanese gardens....
On 22nd March we will be having lunch and doing a workshop there.
This is partly paid for by a Gov. grant for a Seniors Week outing and partly subsidised by our club....
Hopefully a nice day and lovely lunch etc will be had.
