On 24th October our PROBUS club had a lovely outing to Palm Beach for Lunch.
Some of us got to Ferry Rd Ettalong early and went into the Ferry Rd Coffee Shop for a relax and a coffee.
Those who went there can toatally recommend this lovely little place (the best kept secret in Ettalong).
Lovely new owners Peter and Lyn who if you care to check the place out will be happy to serve you with great home made slices and fruit bread etc and tea and coffee.
Lovely people who showed us the various menus, they offer good reasonable prices for breakfasts, lunch's and morning and afternoon tea's, nice garden venue too. Check them out some time....
Those who had a cuppa there totally enjoyed it.
Then it was off to catch the 11 am ferry to Palm Beach, it was a lovely trip over and although a bit windy the boat didn't rock too much....!
A short walk , or for those that chose (the courtesy bus) down to the RSL.
Lovely set menu lunch with 3 choices
Chicken Snitzel chips and salad,
Fish and Chips and salad
Roast pork dinner....
All meals were lovely and served with a smile.
Another lovely venue and everyone enjoyed lunch and a drink before some of the group departed for a tour of the area in the clubs courtesy bus.
Then back to catch the 2pm ferry home, again a nice trip, not too rocky and no one was sea sick........! Thanks Mick , another great outing enjoyed by all.
