Trip to Port Stevens

Lake Macquarie Trip

                                    Thursday 29th April

Great weather, great company and a great trip in 2 busses.

 

First stop for morning tea and scones + the great debate about what comes 1st, cream or marmalade

 

Even Ned Kelly made an appearance

The Old Classroom

Some of you may remember these, almost the same size as Ipads, just not much memory.

Converted church into toilets

Next stop was Blacbutt Nature Reserve Kotara,

with lots of wildlife

We were lucky to see this koala wake up (Alan had a quiet talk to this one) and move. Poor thing nearly fell of.

And we finally had a lovely lunch at Swansea RSL 

overlooking the river.
