Our guest speaker today was going to be Mick Ryan who was going to give us a reminder talk on fire safety.
Unfortunately This talk had to be cancelled, too late to organise another speaker , SO and in its place we had a little talk from our member Alan about his years as a submariner.
Its great when a member will step up at the last minute, and his talk was really interesting,
he used some humour and at times it was serious....
Well Done Alan, we always enjoy your little talks.

Then our President Don interviewed a couple of our members so that we could learn a little more about them.
He interviewed Elaine who told us about her years helping out with the historical society and especially Henry Kendall Cottage .
It's history and beginnings were very interesting.

We value Elaine as a member and as the photos show she will always dress for the occasion.....

Jan is a very lovely lady who spent over 50 years nursing and has some great stories to tell about her nursing days and her years spent tripping around to other parts of the world nursing ,

Ron is a very musical man and a member of a brass band in Gosford, he will be telling us about The instrument "DIDGEREEDOO" and might even play one for us...
